Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is an effective method for reducing stress and allowing you to feel calmer. We know stress can be devastating to one’s physical and mental health. The system's stress response is designed for emergency situations, to help us negotiate danger, for short periods of time. If we are continually in this emergency response state, it takes its toll. As stress chemicals will be constantly in our system preparing the body for action, so we will be vigilant, restless, agitated, irritable and on edge. We may express this with angry outbursts, swearing or being short with others. We may have high blood pressure and suffer from dizzy spells.

Solution focused hypnotherapy uses a combination of psychotherapy, neuroscience and hypnosis to start to calm the system down and get you sleeping better, breathing more calmly and feeling back on top of things.

We have the huge advantage of using trance in our sessions. Trance is very ordinary, in day to day life we drift off or glaze over quite often. In clinical hypnotherapy it is tailored to the individual and works at a subconscious level creating positive changes within the structure of the brain. These changes allow you to feel more able to cope with day to day life in a normal and happy way.
