We know the brain has the ability to create new neural pathways, these pathways grow, when we repeatedly focus our attention in certain ways. To create healthy habits, we need to focus our attention on rehearsing healthy habits as normal, so that our brains ‘go to’ is also the one we want intellectually.
We have the advantage of using hypnosis in our sessions. Hypnosis is really no more than relaxed daydreaming. However, in this relaxed place we can by-pass the ‘critical faculty’ (the part of you that may object and complain) and allow positive messages to be absorbed by the subconscious mind. This has an enormously positive affect as healthier choices can become a very normal and pleasant thing, allowing by de fault, the body to heal and return to a more normal weight.
